Welcome to join us!
Our newly re-established branch aims to strengthen local community and to create a welcoming and inclusive space where people can come together, support one another, and take concrete action to improve the well-being of our neighbourhood.
With our newly elected branch board, we are planning to launch several activities in the upcoming year, including
- Community-building events
- Support for vulnerable and isolated residents
- Volunteer trainings
We warmly welcome everyone in Kontula and the surrounding areas to join us whether as a volunteer, member, partner, or participant and to help us build a safer, caring, and resilient community together.

If your address is in the Kontula area, Kontula branch will automatically appear as your local branch. If it doesn’t, feel free to email us. In Oma, you’ll find all Red Cross activity groups and events. As a logged-in user, you can join the groups you’re interested in.
