Language Club

At the Red Cross Language Club, participants practice everyday Finnish in a friendly atmosphere. 

Volunteers chat with language learners about everyday topics and offer assistance as needed. Language clubs also serve as a good supplement to courses offered by the authorities.

The Pori branch’s language club is held on Thursdays* from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pori branch’s premises, located at Kuninkaanlahdenkatu 10. * Excluding the last Thursday of every month, when the premises are used for other activities.

We can always use more facilitators! You don’t need to be a teacher to lead a language club—a willingness to discuss various topics in Finnish is enough!
