The Red Cross Pori Branch Shop (Puoti) is open Mon–Thu 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and Fri 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Come visit us at Antinkatu 9.

At the shop, we sell Red Cross products, including first aid kits, cards, and gift certificates, as well as handmade crafts created by volunteers.

The shop also features a flea market where you can bring items and clothing in good condition that you no longer need.

At the shop, we also provide information about the activities of the Pori branch of the Red Cross and serve as a distribution point for donation boxes, such as for Hunger Day and other fundraising campaigns.

Volunteers at Puoti take on a variety of tasks. Would you like to join our team?

Our volunteers assist customers, accept and process donations, price items, iron clothes, and more. We are very proud that our customers describe our shop as cozy and fragrant! There are two shifts at the shop Monday through Thursday and one shift on Friday. Volunteers work a shift, for example, once a week or once every two weeks.

Seamstresses and weavers make products at home to sell in the shop using materials purchased by the shop. For example, we sell a lot of wool socks at Christmas.

You can also get involved in communications and marketing, as well as helping to organize activities. We’re also happy to hear ideas for products we could make that people would be willing to buy.
